Computer Aided Design
Going into this I had previously done cad so I didn’t need to learn new stuff. So I went ahead and started my design .For my 3D design I used Fusion 360 and for my laser cut design I used autocad. .
These are the designs i came up with for the chess piece. Overall it was quite simple from the hollowing of the bottom to the shaping of the chess piece.There will be a more detailed explanation in the 3D Printing tab.
For the 2D Design of the music box i followed an online tutorial but not entirely as i had changed some part of it.I had also imported some svg stencil files for my designs.
